Blending with my daughter Anna, Amy Grant and my sister Heidi

My platform keynote speeches begin with loud  rock and roll music, as I attempt to rev up the crowd…and drive home the point that we’re all “Rock Stars.”

Tomorrow morning, Saturday, June 25, at 8:15 AM, will be one of my personal “rock star” moments.  I’ll be doing my first television interview on a local TV station — talking about our book:  What Really Works: Blending the Seven Fs; faith, family, finances, fitness, friends, fun and future.

OK, so I realize that the Minneapolis/St. Paul Fox TV, Channel 9 isn’t even close to the big time.  Here’s what makes it special:  just my daughter Anna accompanied me back stage to meet rock star Amy Grant, she’s going to join me tomorrow morning.  Seriously.  Do you know how hard it is to get a 15 year old girl out of bed, in the summer, on a Saturday morning?  Any time dads and daughters can create special shared experiences, its a Rock Star moment.

If you’re curious, tune in tomorrow morning; 8AM — KMSP TV, Fox Saturday morning news, Channel 9 on your dial.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
