Good Leadership Breakfast Fall Series Preview

What Minnesotan doesn’t love autumn? As much as I look forward to watching football again, I really love the seasonal restart to The Good Leadership Breakfast series. It’s a familiar feeling like back-to-school in my younger days.

A morning built for exploring good leadership

For 17 years, guests have learned from good leaders sharing their growth experience. Unscripted. No slogans. We hear how healthy accountability shows up in decisions, relationships, and results. The format encourages conversation. We predict and reflect – and leave with ideas worth bringing back to our teams.

Fall 2026 Speaker Lineup

The fall series brings together leaders who operate in complex systems:

• September 11, 2026: Rob Vischer, President, University of St. Thomas.
  Rob leads one of the region’s most visible institutions. His perspective connects mission, culture, and accountability in environments shaped by competing priorities and long-term responsibility.
• October 9, 2026: Kelly Hansen, SVP, People and Culture, Veit, with Tim Reimann, President, Veit.
  Kelly and Tim lead together. Their session explores shared accountability across roles and functions, and across business units. Kelly Hansen was the winner of the Good Leadership Award at the inaugural HR Thrive Awards in May.
• November 13, 2026: Jeff Kiesel, CEO, Restaurant Technologies.
  Jeff has built an iconic Minnesota company that has changed the entire restaurant industry for the better. He’s led from start-up to mature market maker – and recently identified his successor.

We host the Good Leadership Breakfast because we know you can’t have an effective organization without good leadership. And we believe you can’t have good leadership without goodness: when people thrive together in a culture of encouragement, healthy accountability, and positive teamwork. The point: healthy accountability is the catalyst for how goodness pays in leadership and business.
