Jeff Kiesel is Chairman, CEO, and President of Restaurant Technologies (RTI), a nationwide commercial kitchen automation company that helps restaurants improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in the foodservice industry. Since joining the company in 2005, he has led its expansion from 12 markets to 41 markets nationwide, growing the business to nearly $1 billion in revenue and building a team of more than 1,200 employees.
Restaurant Technologies is also a significant contributor to circular economy initiatives in foodservice and a leader in sustainability within the industry. In 2025, the company recycled nearly 400 million pounds of used cooking oil (UCO), converting it into renewable diesel, biodiesel, and aviation fuel.
During his tenure, Jeff has prioritized company values, culture, and community impact. He spearheaded the RTI Educational Foundation, which has raised nearly $1 million in scholarship funding for employees’ children over the past decade. Over the last three years, he has personally matched all donations dollar-for-dollar to support secondary and continuing education for the children of RTI employees.
Jeff has built a winning culture that has been recognized nationally and locally in Minnesota. With more than 30 years of senior leadership experience, including 18 years with GE and GE Capital, and executive leadership roles at G&K Services and VIZTA3D, Jeff is widely recognized as an industry thought leader. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Williams College and an MBA from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management.
