If you’ve followed this blog lately, you know I’ve been sharing secrets for how leaders are keeping their wits about them to stay positive. That’s a good topic for today – election day in America, 2020. The opportunity to vote in an open election is one of the greatest rights of a free society. Participation creates engagement.
However, basically half of the country will be in a state of heightened anger and negativity after the results are fully counted. At least anger means that people are paying attention. Positivity comes when we can see a better path forward. Whoever is declared the winner, we’re going to need to find ways to heal and unite regardless of a ‘red’ or ‘blue’ victory.
Goodness is when people thrive together, in a culture of encouragement, accountability, and positive teamwork. The hope for tomorrow is that we see more goodness. Let’s keep the faith.
