Time flies when we’re having fun! So it’s easy to feel why another year is racing to a close. Reflection is an important part of improving, so let’s reflect back on what happened within the arms of Good Leadership in 2025, and look ahead at what’s coming up next.
Here’s what 2025 looked like:
This year was about deepening the commitment to Healthy Accountability: a concept that continues to transform teams, leaders, and organizations.
Client and partner collaboration: This year included inspiring work with more than 35 client organizations, touching thousands of leaders in hundreds of teams, including traditional coaching processes and team retreats, and now development programs based on the Health Accountability research. It’s both fun and deeply meaningful to pass along what we learn from one client to others.
Released the preview ebook and finished the book Healthy Accountability: Bringing this book and research to life was a rewarding journey. This book was written because something is missing in today’s leadership conversation. Accountability has long been perceived as punitive, reactive, and fear-based. This research confirmed the perception that “accountability feels broken.” To most, accountability feels weaponized. The book turns that problem into an organizational effectiveness strategy based on goodness.
Launched the Physician Leadership Accelerator: This new program was designed specifically to support physicians in their unique leadership challenges. Three cohort groups of participating physicians began their leadership journey by learning the basics of Personal Leadership, Business Leadership, Clinical Leadership and Organizational Leadership.
Launched the HR THRIVE Awards in partnership with Gallagher and Twin Cities Business: The HR THRIVE Awards were created to spotlight the HR leaders who drive meaningful changes in the workplace. The launch was a big step in honoring those who shape the emotional fabric of organizations: HR leaders who are building thriving, accountable cultures every day.
117 Good Leadership Breakfasts: Over the course of 117 breakfast events, one insight keeps sustaining the momentum: leaders continue to be hungry for meaningful connection and pragmatic conversation about goodness as a leadership strategy. Goodness is when people thrive together in a culture of encouragement, healthy accountability, and positive teamwork. We’re grateful that some things just never seem to go out of style.
Looking Ahead to 2026

And many, many more good things yet to come!
