Meet Amy Langer on Valentines Day at the Good Leadership Breakfast.

Exploring for and inviting speakers to the Good Leadership Breakfast is joyful work, made much easier because of the conveyor belt of good ideas from you!  The kick-off speaker; Amy Langer (February 14) was recommended more than two years ago by Lance Hazzard, a coaching client and Medtronic executive. Darrell Thompson (March 21) was recommended by my daughter, Katie Batz.  Terry Esau (April 25)  was recommended by a good friend and colleague Heidi Rosati.

The gift that dropped from the sky was our connection to the CNN Hero of the Year: Chad Pregracke (May 23). CH Robinson colleagues, Rick Kapsner and Mike Wilken have been chirping in my ear for more than two years about Chad, who is famous for his superhuman work cleaning up the Mississippi River. Two days after we confirmed his participation as our May breakfast speaker, Chad accepted the CNN Hero of the Year Award on TV, presented by Anderson Cooper.

Terry Esau is an author, composer and social innovator whose captured my admiration.

When good leaders work together with good intentions, great things are possible!

The move to Edina Country Club will increase our capacity and make us easier to find by guests from the Northern and Eastern areas of Minneapolis/St. Paul.  After 6 continuous sold out breakfasts in 2013, we are looking forward to hosting a bigger crowd!

Of course, nothing significant is ever accomplished alone. We are grateful for Cargill who will be our presenting sponsor again, as well as US Bank Private Client Reserve and Winthrop & Weinstine as confirmed Series sponsors. Special thanks to HANDy Paint Products – who will once again match the dollars collected in the Bucket of Good Will: so far we’ve raised more than $59,000 for charities.

Successful professional athlete and extraordinary mentor Darrell Thompson will add his insight into how leaders grow today.

Good leaders make a habit of enrolling the support of good leaders to make great things possible.  And they ride the momentum to make life better for more people.

So, who will be your favorite speaker…and which of your friends will you introduce to the Good Leadership Breakfast in 2014?[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
