What’s your favorite ‘F’ word?

Faith, Family, Finances, Fitness, Friends, Fun and Future…these are my favorite F words lately. We call them the Seven Fs. In my work as an executive coach, I’ve found discussion around these words — in alphabetical sequence — can lead to a deep and meaningful motivation for personal growth. And my friend Tim Schmidt agrees — so much so that we are writing the book on the subject together. Its called What Really Works: Discovering the Seven Fs. Its a book that encourages people to set goals with the well-rounded Seven Fs framework, and build mentoring relationships to help you live the life you imagine.

This is the most meaningful thing I’ve ever tackled in my career. The Seven Fs have created so many rich and rewards in my life. We are so excited! This Thursday evening, March 4, we are hosting a party to launch the book project. About a hundred of our friends and family will be gathering to take the first 21 question Seven Fs survey. We’ll work together to take the survey live — in real time — with that really cool ‘audience response’ technology. Each person will have their own personal remote keypad…just like when they poll the audience on the Who Wants to be a Millionare? TV show. Aren’t you curious? After the party, we will launch the survey to a global audience — we’re asking our friends to email the survey to people all over the world. We hope to collect information from at least 1000 people, from all seven continents (maybe not Antarctica).
